WiFi Pages is a list of branded guest landing pages, one for each WiFi network. Every QR code you generate gets its own page automatically.
How to Access
- In the sidebar, click Tools to expand the menu
- Click WiFi Pages
- You'll see a list of page cards with options to create, edit, and manage each page
Click the Edit button on any card to configure that page's settings, email capture, upsells, and branding.
What the Page Does for Guests
The mobile-optimized page:
- Shows your network name and password in a large, copyable format
- On Android — deep-links into Wi-Fi settings after copying the password, so the guest can tap to connect in one step
- On iOS — copies the password to the clipboard automatically; the guest pastes it once in Settings → Wi-Fi
- Renders cleanly when scanned with Google Lens, the iOS Camera app, or any third-party QR scanner
This eliminates the most common guest question of every stay: "What's the WiFi password?"
Optional Features
The WiFi page has three optional capabilities you turn on from the page editor:
Email Capture *(Weekend Host or higher)*
Ask the guest for their email before revealing the password. Build a list of past guests for repeat-stay marketing, post-stay reviews, and direct-booking nurture.
You can customize:
- The headline and supporting copy
- Whether email is required or skippable
- A consent line for compliance
Captured emails appear under the WiFi page's analytics view and can be exported to CSV.
Upsell Cards *(Weekend Host or higher)*
Add 1–3 cards on the WiFi page that promote nearby restaurants, tours, your own services, late checkout, or anything you want guests to discover the moment they connect.
Each card has:
- A title and short description
- An image
- A call-to-action button with any URL (track it as a Hostmatic short link if you want click data)
Tip: The single most clicked-on upsell card in our data is "Skip the line: book a table at [neighborhood restaurant]". Local recommendations beat your own services for trust — and a tracked short link tells you the ROI either way.
White-Label *(Pro Host)*
Replace the Hostmatic logo with your own and remove the platform footer. The page becomes fully your brand — useful for property managers running multiple properties under a single business name.
You can also customize:
- Header background color
- Logo (PNG or SVG upload)
- Footer text
Page Limits per Plan
Each WiFi QR code creates one page. The number of pages you can run depends on your plan:
| Plan | WiFi pages |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Weekend Host | 5 |
| Pro Host | 25 |
Each plan's page limit is one WiFi page per QR code.
Analytics
Each WiFi page on the list card displays:
- Visits — how many guests landed on the page
- Emails captured (if email capture is enabled)
- WiFi reveals — how many guests joined your network
Open a page card to see detailed analytics and track performance over time.
Leads & Export *(Weekend Host or higher)*
If you enabled email capture on your WiFi page, you'll see a Leads view in the WiFi Pages list. Click it to see all captured guest emails with:
- Guest email address
- Date captured
- Number of emails collected
Download your guest list as a CSV file (wifi-leads-{page}-{date}.csv) for use in email marketing, CRM, or direct-booking campaigns.
Print *(All plans)*
Generate a printable WiFi page for your guests.
- From the WiFi Pages list, find the page card you want to print
- Click the Print button (printer icon) on the card
- A new tab opens with a printable page layout
Print this page and post it in your entry area, bedroom, or guest guide. Guests can scan the QR code to connect to WiFi and access your branded page.
Common Questions
- Can guests scan without internet? — Yes. The QR code is a Wi-Fi-config QR (standard format), so most phones can join the network without loading the WiFi page first. The page loads after they're connected — that's actually ideal for email capture and upsells.
- Why don't I see email capture or upsell options? — Those require Weekend Host or higher. Upgrade from the pricing page to unlock them.
- Can I change the WiFi password later? — Yes. Edit the page details from the Edit button on the page card and regenerate the QR code if you've changed the actual network password. Existing printed codes will stop working once Wi-Fi credentials change.
- What if the guest's phone blocks Wi-Fi-config QRs? — The page still displays the password as text that the guest can copy manually, even if the deep-link doesn't fire.
