What iCal Provides
Calendar integration gives you:
- Booking dates — Check-in and check-out dates for each reservation
- Occupancy tracking — How full your calendar is over time
- Booking volume — Number of reservations per period
- Platform attribution — Which OTA each booking came from (when using separate feeds)
Note: iCal provides booking dates but not revenue data. For revenue tracking, connect Guesty.

- Go to your listing → Calendar → Availability
- Scroll to "Connect calendars" or "Export calendar"
- Copy the iCal export URL
In Hostmatic:
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar
- Click Airbnb Calendars
- Paste your iCal URL
- Give the calendar a name (e.g., "Beach House - Airbnb")
- Click Add Calendar
Repeat for each listing you want to track.
Connecting VRBO
In VRBO:
- Go to your listing → Calendar
- Click "Export calendar" or "iCal link"
- Copy the URL
In Hostmatic:
- Follow the same steps as above, pasting the VRBO iCal URL
- Name it to identify the platform (e.g., "Beach House - VRBO")
Connecting Booking.com
In Booking.com:
- Go to your property → Calendar & Pricing
- Find the iCal export option
- Copy the URL
In Hostmatic:
- Add the calendar following the same process
- Name it accordingly (e.g., "Beach House - Booking.com")
Multiple Listings
Add a separate calendar feed for each listing on each platform. For example, if you have two properties each listed on Airbnb and VRBO, you'd add four calendar feeds.
This gives you per-listing and per-platform booking data for your analytics.
Sync Frequency
Calendar data syncs periodically. Hostmatic checks your iCal feeds regularly to pick up new bookings and cancellations.
Tips
- Use descriptive names — Include the property name and platform in each calendar name
- Keep URLs current — If you regenerate your iCal URL on the OTA, update it in Hostmatic
- One feed per platform per listing — This enables accurate platform attribution in your Booking Comparison reports
