OTA Performance

Track performance metrics across your OTA platforms — bookings, revenue, and occupancy.

How to Access

  1. In the sidebar, click Insights to expand the menu
  2. Under Advanced Analytics, click OTA Performance

What You'll See on the Page

  • Total bookings — Reservation count across all platforms for the selected period
  • Revenue — Total and per-platform revenue (requires Guesty)
  • Occupancy rate — Calendar fill rate
  • Average daily rate (ADR) — Revenue per booked night
  • Average booking value — Revenue per reservation
  • Platform breakdown table — Performance split by Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, direct, etc. Each platform gets its own row.
  • Date range selector — Use the dropdown in the top-right to filter by Last 7, 14, 30, or 90 days

How to Use This Data

Commission Optimization

Compare your direct booking performance against OTA channels. If direct bookings are growing, you may be able to reduce OTA reliance and save on commission fees.

Listing Optimization

If one platform consistently underperforms, investigate your listing quality on that platform. Go to Tools → Airbnb in the sidebar to use the Image Analyzer for photo feedback.

Revenue Forecasting

Historical OTA data helps predict future revenue by platform. Use this for budget planning and marketing allocation.

Data Sources

OTA performance data comes from:

  • Guesty — The most complete source with revenue, ADR, and platform attribution
  • Airbnb Calendars — Booking dates from iCal feeds
  • Other iCal feeds — Booking data from VRBO, Booking.com, etc.

For the richest data including revenue, connect Guesty from the Integrations page in the sidebar. Calendar-only connections provide booking counts and dates but not revenue.
